We are taking random chapters from the DVD Bible and putting them in kindle ebooks so that you can get an idea of what is in the DVD.�

From the Inside Flap
Most of the�Show and Tell Bible�DVD stories have different illustrators.�Joseph�is illustrated by�Randy Radke, an accomplished artist with a wonderful sense of humor. He drew all the pictures for the�Nehemiah�story in volume 2 and is currently drawing�Jonah�for the third volume of the DVD series.�

The thousands of pictures for this unique�Show And Tell Bible�are drawn by over 20 different artists of all ages, each one doing a segment or two of the stories on each volume. The backgrounds are usually photographs taken by different photographers.�All art comes in as line art. This is scanned into the computer, colored and then shaded to match the photograph background.�

On the DVDs only, sound is added...the English and Spanish narration done by numerous narrators, each doing a segment or two. The last element to be added is the subtitles in English and Spanish. The DVD travels along at a fast clip, but can be stopped at any time using the pause button if the viewer wished to discuss a picture separately, or read more in depth from a printed Bible. �The purpose of the DVD Bible is to give Christians a visual Bible, shown mostly in chronicle order, that will help them remember the stories and sequence of stories.

Great for a 2 year old

I have a 3 year Bible/Theological graduate school degree. Is this "the whole story" as the reviewer above wanted? No. Do I want my 2 year old granddaughter to hear the whole story at 2? Would she even pay attention past a 3 minute story? No and No. I used to do children's sermons. One starts out on Biblical stories in simplicity. My mother sat at my bedside and told me Biblical stories as a young child and as I grew older, I went more in depth. This is a wonderful "starting toddler" book and, especially for free, I recommend it whole-heartedly!!!!

Meant to be read to toddlers. The story is accurate though multiple important details are omitted. But short attention spans will certainly be entertained for 3-5 minutes.

Hyacinth C. Martin, BSN, MA, MSED, MPS, RNBC is a registered professional nurse for thirty-years. Her nursing career includes staff nurse in medical-surgical units, head nurse/nurse manager for medical-surgical units and critical-care units, administrative nursing supervisor, community nursing and administrative nursing supervisor in long-term care agencies. Her academic experiences include teaching theory and clinical in a Licensed Practical Nursing program, a Baccalaureate Degree Program and at present in an Associate Degree program. Publications include two manuscripts for Nursing Journal, Continuing Medical Education Resource and part of a chapter on the endocrine system in introduction to medical terminology published by Thomson: Delmar Learning. Article accepted by Nursing Spectrum for publication - August 2004. Current presentations: �Pulmonary Tuberculosis: Controlling the transmission of the Disease.� PACE University Conference: �Civic Society, Environmental Responsibility, & Sustainable Development in the United States & Brazil: New York, New York, June 10-11, 2004. Manhattan Veteran�s Hospital Medical Center Conference: New York, new York: �The effective use of unfractionated and fractionated heparin therapy to patients at risk for thrombus formation.� Achievements: Recognized in Who�s Who Among American Teachers in three successive years. I bought this book for an pharmacology course for nursing school, so it was required for me to buy it. This book highlights tons case studies and it prepares you to think critically on how to take care of patients. The context was a bit dry, however, it was definitely useful.

When something says easy, I expect it to be somewhere between beginner and a one year student. This is more likely a good book for a two year plus guitar student. Will keep it, but I wish I had known that it was advanced before I got it.

Bit of a dissapointment. All it had was overly simplified rhythm parts and mention of where the solos were supposed to go. Plus, the cover fell off about two days after I got it. Good for beginners, but not for more advanced musicians.
